The tea cup block is from her pattern <em>All That and the Hatter<\/em> from the book <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Hand-Quilted-With-Sarah-Fielke\/dp\/1908862599\/\" title=\"Hand Quilted With Love by Sarah Fielke on Amazon\" target=\"_blank\">Hand Quilted With Love<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I was immediately drawn to this quilt when I saw it in the book, and loved it even more when I got to see it at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pescapresents.com\/blog\/2013\/06\/sydney-quilt-craft-fair-2013-part-1-the-show\/\" title=\"Sydney Quilt &#038; Craft Fair 2013 \u2013 Part 1: The Show\">Sydney Craft &#038; Quilt Fair<\/a>, there&#8217;s a picture of the full quilt on <a href=\"http:\/\/thelastpiece.typepad.com\/the_last_piece\/2013\/07\/a-birthday-quilt-along.html\" title=\"All That and the Hatter Quilt on The Last Piece by Sarah Fielke\" target=\"_blank\">Sarah&#8217;s blog<\/a>. The amount of piecing involved seemed a bit daunting. Making this tea cup for Sarah was a perfect way to try out a single block that would go to good use. I also made my first cut into one of my pieces of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.liberty.co.uk\/fcp\/departmenthome\/dept\/fabrics\" title=\"Liberty of London Fabrics\" target=\"_blank\">Liberty<\/a>. That was a bit scary but oh so worth it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pescapresents.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/tea-cup-1-600x455.jpg\" alt=\"Tea Cup Block\" width=\"600\" height=\"455\" class=\"single-img\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;d like to see more of the blocks, Sarah has been posting pics on Instagram tagged with <a href=\"http:\/\/statigr.am\/tag\/birthdayquiltalong\/\" title=\"#birthdayquiltalong on Instagram\">#birthdayquiltalong<\/a> to show the many beautiful and varied tea cups she&#8217;s received so far.
